Hunter has acquired a vacant car showroom and garage forecourt at 111-115 Main Street, Milngavie in a new joint venture with high-net-worth clients.

The purchase, which is in a popular north-west suburb of Glasgow, was completed in December 2021. Hunter plans to redevelop the now obsolete site into a 22,000 sqft retail unit to be leased to a new tenant and to reposition the site as an asset to the local community.

Planning is due to be submitted in May 2022 and marketing of the unit has commenced.

The project team includes Hargest Planning (planning consultancy), Dougall Baillie Associates (transport consultant) and Dickson Minto (legal), all of which are Scottish companies.
